About the Role
We are looking for an innovative and experienced Architect for QE Automation to lead the Functional Automation CoE and drive the adoption of advanced automation strategies within our QE organization. This role is perfect for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in automation frameworks, AI/ML technologies, and cloud integrations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and evolving cutting-edge automation frameworks, integrating AI-powered solutions into QE, and optimizing processes to align with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices. Additionally, you will play a key role in establishing and enforcing QE standards, managing a talented team of engineers, and fostering continuous improvement to scale the quality of our products effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive QE Automation CoE, spearheading AI/ML initiatives to enhance the quality assurance process and implement cutting-edge automation practices.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks for functional testing, leveraging the latest technologies, industry best practices, and scalable solutions.
  • Define and enforce QE automation standards and best practices to ensure consistency and excellence across the organization.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and CISO teams to seamlessly integrate automation processes and security protocols into the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a secure and efficient delivery pipeline.
  • Create and maintain scalable automation solutions that support cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products at enterprise scale.
  • Develop and execute strategic QE automation initiatives, overseeing projects across enterprise to ensure alignment with organizational goals and delivery excellence.
  • Lead the adoption of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG and other AI services to automate and optimize testing processes, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
  • Design and build applications, tools, libraries, and handlers that support automation, incorporating AI to optimize STLC.
  • Mentor and manage a high-performance team of Automation and AI engineers, fostering professional growth, skill development, and innovative thinking.
  • Continuously research and stay at the forefront of automation technologies and AI advancements to ensure the QE Automation CoE remains innovative and competitive.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that automation processes align with broader business goals, maximizing impact and value at scale. Preferred Skills: Expertise in designing, developing, and managing automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Karate, Rest Assured, Appium, Cucumber and Serenity.
  • Experience with licensed automation tools such as UiPath, UFT, Tosca.
  • Proficiency in AI/ML technologies, with a focus on Generative AI models like GPT, Gemini, and Claude
  • Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts and their application within automation processes.
  • Expertise in integrating AI services to enhance functional automation and optimize processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS EC2, S3, Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, SeeTest) along with experience using GitLab, GitHub, ADO and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or other relevant languages.
  • Strong ability to define version control, job scheduling, and coding standards across domains.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure and cloud-based applications, with hands-on experience in automation across cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams in a center of excellence (CoE) environment, driving automation excellence across the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in quality engineering and automation, with a strong focus on building scalable frameworks and integrating AI/ML technologies.
  • Proven experience in leading QE automation initiatives (Center of Excellence - CoE) across large organizations, particularly in functional automation and AI integration.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks and tools for complex applications and large-scale systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of managing and mentoring teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge of software development and testing lifecycle.
  • Ability to influence organizational vision and strategy, championing the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
