About the Opportunity
Are you a talented higher education professional with experience in Colleague and Envision?

Ellucian is seeking a talented individual that has at least 7 years of advanced Colleague experience for a Senior Colleague Technician.

Ellucian is currently looking to add Professional Services Consultants with Colleague ERP experience with application development and client-facing training skills. The consultant will work with the client, with other consultants and independently to provide support to our Higher Education customers as they implement Colleague. 
Higher education customers are transforming to modern campuses while leveraging technology and solutions to enable student success.  In this mission critical role, you will partner with our customers to help enable their transformation to cloud/SAAS solutions and ensure successful adoption of these solutions.

Where you will make an impact
  • Meet with customers to maintain open communication and deliver professional service technical engagement.
  • Provide guidance and assist with the conversion of the client’s legacy data to Colleague
  • Promote customer usage of Ellucian resources such as the Solution Center, product documentation and Communities.
  • Success will be measured by customer satisfaction, achievement of projects, and utilization targets.

What you will bring
  • 7+ years of Ellucian experience working in a customer-facing role within a Colleague software environment.
  • Experience providing programming, analysis, and end-user support for Colleague.
  • Experience with packaging and installation of software updates
  • Ability to:
    • work in a team-oriented project environment.
    • take ownership of tasks.
    • keep track of multiple projects.
    • to use the customer support center to research issues.
    • be a problem-solver.
  • Must have effective communication, training, and presentation skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills, able to manage activities based on business impact.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge in the following areas: 
    • UniBasic
    • UniQuery
    • Envision
    • Colleague Electronic File Transfers (ELF)
    • Basic SQL skills
    • Concepts regarding the importing and exporting data
  • Knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous:  
    • System administration basics
