Senior Commercial Product Manager – Enterprise Learning & Skills, North America
As a Senior Product Manager for GED, a business unit of Enterprise Learning & Skills (ELS), you will be responsible for ensuring that we meet the needs of key customers including learners, educators, and employers in domestic and international markets.

What you'll do here
- Analyze data, take action, and help GED and Accelerated Pathways deliver on the promise of learning for life
- Align to, track, and communicate progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs);
- Support development and progress on a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Understand customer needs to ensure product portfolio can deliver on student progression goals
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Drive to revenue goals
- Work alongside the leadership to shape the strategy.
- Work with product team to identify gaps in market for learning products and deliver recommendations for future-proofing the product portfolio
- Have a relentless focus on a delightful user experience and on solving for our customer’s most important needs.
- Demonstrate ongoing curiosity about and stay close to the talent and learning ecosystem in which we operate.
What you know, have done, or can do (must haves)
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years’ experience with driving revenue in a product management role
- Strong relationship management skills, and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven mindset; superior written and verbal communication skills; exemplary resourcefulness.
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
- Big picture thinker capable of executing on the day-to-day details and tasks.
- Proven process manager and facilitator of prioritization discussions.
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Previous success in developing and delivering digital solutions to meet customer needs;
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
- Experience working with analyzing data to drive decision-making
- Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets.
What you may know and have done (nice to haves)
- Software as a Service (SaaS) product management experience.
- Capable of driving to objectives with multidisciplinary team members from marketing, analytics, IT, finance, legal, and operations
- Financial modeling to build product and vision use-cases.
- Relevant credentials in project management, data analysis, product management, etc.
- Experience in learning and credentialing, higher ed and GED
- Experience in corporate learning and development programs.
- AI experience a plus

What to expect from Pearson
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The full-time salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000.
