Job Purpose

Reporting to the Manager, IT Product Management, the Senior IT Business Analyst will play a key role in driving technology initiatives, optimizing business processes, and ensuring seamless execution of product roadmaps while working alongside product managers to define priorities, refine requirements and align technology solutions with business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Possess a strong understanding of NetSuite ERP, acting as a NetSuite ERP subject matter expert, leveraging knowledge of core functionalities, workflows, and integrations to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for business process improvement and drive strategic enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to implement scalable, future-proof solutions
  • Lead high-impact requirements-gathering workshops with business stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with strategic business goals. Ensure thorough documentation of complex business needs and system dependencies.
  • Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle by translating high-level business requirements into detailed, well-structured user stories in Jira, ensuring clarity for developers and alignment with product roadmaps. Establish best practices for user story refinement and prioritization.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams, ensuring a shared understanding of deliverables and proactively addressing risks and roadblocks.
  • Contribute to refining the product backlog through regular upkeep, grooming and priority scoring to optimize project tracking and execution
  • Analyze complex processes and work with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations and to implement process improvements.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure that the implementation of technical solutions follows best practices.
  • Lead change management efforts by developing comprehensive training materials and end-user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies. Serve as an internal champion for best practices.
  • Work closely with the QA team to assist in UAT sessions, validate requirements, and ensure solution quality before deployment.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience in IT Product Analysis, Business Analysis, or similar role, with expertise in NetSuite ERP
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Proven experience leading complex IT Product initiatives, system enhancements and business process optimization
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, ability to articulate complex technical details and project expectations clearly to various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with minimal supervision, excellent time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a high standard of execution and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
  • CBAP, CSPO, or other relevant certification, with demonstrated experience in leading large-scale product implementations
  • Knowledge of integration tools such as Workato to facilitate seamless data exchange across enterprise systems

The expected base salary range for this position is $85,000-$97,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.
