Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Learning Technology and Platforms SME:
- Lead operational functions for this team, providing tactical administration and optimizing learning technology use.
- Serve as a certified system user/superuser/administrator across multiple learning platforms.
- Create platform specific elements like learning channels, journeys, pathways, smart cards, curricula, knowledge checks, videos, and surveys.
- Build and maintain user groups and permissions, satisfaction surveys, learning request intake processes, and platform reports, solving issues on all platforms.
Learning Program and Project Administration:
- Design engaging learning solutions that resonate with diverse learner needs using sound adult learning principles and instructional design methods.
- Collaborate and lead various learning projects that shape the future of talent development in the J&J MedTech sector.
- Establish and lead departmental learning standards and governance policies, including naming conventions, content ownership, and review periods.
- Maintain learning content inventories, including skills mapping to ensure content is aligned to development needs.
- Build and promote virtual learning solutions and provide practical application opportunities for learners.
- Lead development and administration of cohort-based learning (NovoEd) and gamification (Axonify).
Partnership and Leadership:
- Communicate with cross-functional partners and customers to ensure alignment on standards and training initiatives.
- Mentor team members and partners in learning design standard methodologies, fostering innovation and professional growth.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development or similar field.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Certification or background in Training & Development, Instructional Design, UX/UI, or related areas.
- 3 years' experience in learning technology administration, with 1 year experience using Xyleme LCMS or Cornerstone LMS
- Experienced with an array of learning modalities and solutions (eLearning, face-to-face, VILT, video, etc.).
- Demonstrated customer- and learner-centric thinking and continuous improvement approach.
Preferred:
- Project management or process improvement experience in learning and development.
- Learn Ecosystem technologies experience (EdCast LxP, Xyleme LCMS, NovoEd Cohort, Summit LMS, Learner Group Management, Learning Analytics Reporting, Visier)
- Instructional design and eLearning technologies experience (Storyline, Rise, Xyleme Create).
- Experience designing capability academies or global learning initiatives in MedTech or life sciences.
- Strong partner management skills to collaborate with R&D, Clinical, RA/QA and Manufacturing teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
- Foundational knowledge of AI-based solutions.
Other:
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically for project oversight and team collaboration.
- Willingness to flex working hours to meet with global collaborators and partners.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :$91,000- $147,000; For Bay area- $105,000- $170,000
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
