The Senior Marketing Manager, Product Marketing supports the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing efforts for education programs and other initiatives.

The Senior Marketing Manager collaborates with internal marketing partners to analyze opportunities, identify target audiences, assess the competitive landscape, and build marketing plans to achieve acquisition and lead goals. S/he will understand and articulate value propositions, develop creative briefs, and work with marketing partners to develop creative assets and execute campaigns that support the integrated marketing plan. This role also works directly with business stakeholders to help launch new programs, identify areas for growth, and execute marketing strategies.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategy and marketing
  • plans to achieve acquisition and lead goals for education programs
  • Create a messaging strategy, positioning, differentiators, proof points, and value
  • propositions for education products and services.
  • Collaborating and implementing the findings from our market and competitive research that informs go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and creativity for education programs
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on product differentiators and key messages for marketing assets and campaigns in support of the goals
  • Identify opportunities and create marketing assets for all segments
  • Develop creative briefs and collaborate with internal marketing partners to produce
  • digital or offline assets required to execute marketing campaigns
  • Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity – can cope with change, shift gears comfortably, decide and act without having the total picture, and comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
  • Prepare monthly business reviews and align with performance unit reporting needs.
  • Collaborate in the creation of annual marketing budgets and strategy
  • Maintain and communicate with cross-functional relationships with sales, support services, classroom operations, product subject matter experts, and other individuals as necessary to accomplish marketing/sales objectives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Business Administration or Marketing
  • 7+ years of experience or training
  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing or integrated marketing with an inhouse
  • marketing department or advertising agency
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities in a
  • multi-task environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be both strategic and tactical 
  • Strong analytical skills required in a data-driven business environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive, self-starter
  • B2B and//or B2C marketing experience
