Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance

The position will focus on creating and maintaining positive exposure for each of Adtalem’s  universities through the creation of effective marketing programs. Assists in developing strategic marketing assets for the University. Tactically executes on the marketing plan in support of each University’s objectives as directed by the director of marketing.
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As directed by Manager, lead status updates, workflow, prioritization and planning process across initiatives for specific projects. Lead brief intake and evaluation process for all creative needs of the content and creative team.
  • As directed by Manager, work with various internal functional departments including Research, Business Intelligence, Media, Public Relations, Legal and Academics to gather information needed to be included or considered in creative assignments.
  • Assist in executing marketing strategy and look for opportunities to extend the brand to all applicable audiences.
  • Work with University IM Teams, Project Managers, Adtalem Creatives and agencies of record on development of print advertising, printed marketing collateral, direct mail campaigns, paid media assets, and more.
  • Assist in the management of creative budgets and execution of authorized plans, purchase orders and vendor payments.  Approve advertising billing and invoices for payment. Communicate with agencies and outside vendors for billing issues and dispute resolution.
  • Assist with search engine optimization and updated online content.
  • Assist in production of university videos.
  • Create and maintains information seminar presentations and other executive presentations as assigned.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, or similar field, required.
  • 5 years of recent marketing experience in planning, creating and implementing direct marketing and online advertising campaigns, required.
  • Proficient in Excel/Word/Power Point/Outlook. Experience in project management platforms such as WorkFront and DAM platforms such as Box and Canto.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple projects along with excellent oral and written communications skills.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520 and $93,918. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
