Job Description

This role may sit in our Phoenix or Salt Lake City Offices.

The Senior Software Engineer - Pipelines will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing robust reusable CI/CD pipelines and backend systems to ensure seamless, scalable, and efficient software delivery. This role requires a strong foundation in backend development with expertise in Golang, alongside hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Custom Github Actions, Terraform, Docker Image building and optimization, and AWS (ECS, EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring optimized deployment workflows.
Implement and maintain backend services and APIs using Go and Python.
Leverage tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, and Nexus to streamline and automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define best practices, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability for critical systems.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members in Agile development environments.
Develop clear, comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and solutions.
Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and improve system efficiency.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, integrating relevant advancements into the pipeline infrastructure.
Performs miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Updates technical skills as required.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

Expertise in Go and Python programming.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Nexus.
Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and web technologies.
Solid experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure (e.g., AWS).

Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
