Job Description
This role may sit in our Phoenix or Salt Lake City Offices.

The Senior Software Engineer - Pipelines will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing robust reusable CI/CD pipelines and backend systems to ensure seamless, scalable, and efficient software delivery. This role requires a strong foundation in backend development with expertise in Golang, alongside hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Custom Github Actions, Terraform, Docker Image building and optimization, and AWS (ECS, EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 
  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring optimized deployment workflows.
  • Implement and maintain backend services and APIs using Go and Python.
  • Leverage tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, and Nexus to streamline and automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define best practices, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability for critical systems.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members in Agile development environments.
  • Develop clear, comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and solutions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and improve system efficiency.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, integrating relevant advancements into the pipeline infrastructure.
  • Performs miscellaneous projects as assigned.
  • Updates technical skills as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
  • Expertise in Go and Python programming.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Nexus.
  • Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and web technologies.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure (e.g., AWS).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems in high-pressure environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality code.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with team-based software development practices.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in backend development and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven expertise in Go, Python, and CI/CD tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Terraform, AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, EC2), and cloud-native architecture.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL/SQL databases, application integration, and legacy systems.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Position & Application Details
