You can help us figure out how to effectively bring together offline and online user experiences and technologies such as GenAI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to innovate in the classroom.

As a Senior Software Developer, your experience and leadership will help guide your team to continue to evolve in all aspects of technical and delivery excellence. You will lead and mentor across multiple workstreams supporting your team’s delivery commitments as well as the technical stack and end to end software development lifecycle, including devops. You will work cross-functionally with Product and Design peers to collaborate on your team’s technical and product roadmaps and decision-making in bringing the best products and user experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities

Focus on building well-architected software with high product quality that meets the end user’s needs effectively
Hold yourself accountable for meeting sprint goals and delivery commitments
Deeply understand the product domain, product roadmap, and delivery objectives in order to help the team deliver the right solutions effectively
Represent the user’s best interests when collaborating with product and design partners in order to arrive at the best functional and technical solution
Strive to do well across technical and non-technical areas and goals
Adhere to core Agile practices, with effective estimation, delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Be collaborative across roles and disciplines and help the team resolve challenges through healthy, constructive debates
Support team growth through great collaboration with all team members, sharing your ideas, thoughts, and perspectives
Solve complex problems without overly complex solutions
Help ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, and other best practices

Qualifications

1+ years of software development and design experience in an Enterprise or equivalent environment, with a background in .Net-based solutions and Azure cloud services
Excellent programming and software design skills
Ownership mindset, self-motivated and self-driven
Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for continuous learning
Analytical, problem-solving attitude
Strong knowledge of C# .Net
Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
Experience building, testing and supporting scalable applications with n-tier architecture
Strong experience with API development and best practices
Strong experience with Blazor or React
Knowledge of front end technologies HTML, CSS, Typescript
Sound knowledge of CI/CD practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
