Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and education-driven Solutions Engineering Manager with deep engineering expertise to lead our intelligence management and data integration efforts. This role is a dynamic blend of technical leadership, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, internal teams, and offshore developers to design and implement high-impact solutions that exceed expectations and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of offshore professional services developers, ensuring continuous technical and professional growth.
  • Drive the strategic vision for Education Intelligence Solutions, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and Authentica's goals.
  • Champion best practices for intelligence management, data integration, and security to enhance the customer experience.

Customer Engagement & Solution Engineering
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, working closely to understand their requirements and challenges.
  • Translate customer needs into scalable, high-performance solutions using the latest intelligence-driven integration technologies.
  • Deliver expert guidance and hands-on support to customers, ensuring seamless implementation and adoption.

Technical Execution & Collaboration
  • Work closely with engineering teams to design, enhance, and advance the platform’s capabilities for delivering Education Intelligence Solutions, including data integration and management.
  • Oversee the implementation of intelligence-driven data pipelines, ETL processes, and API integrations, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization in education intelligence applications.

Process Improvement & Innovation
  • Establish and refine best practices for delivering Education Intelligence Solutions, ensuring security, compliance, and sustainability.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative solutions into our platform and services.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency in the education intelligence space.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:
  • Proven experience in solutions engineering, Intelligence Management with valued data integration solutions, or software development management.
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing offshore development teams and working in a global environment.
  • Extensive experience working directly with customers in a technical implementation or professional services capacity.
  • Hands-on expertise with ETL processes, APIs, cloud-based data platforms, and integration frameworks.
  • Strong data analytics skills, to include proficiency in SQL or other scripting languages, for troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Background in customer-facing technical roles such as professional services or solutions architecture.
  • General knowledge of Python with an understanding of data transformation techniques.

Preferred:
  • Understanding of Databricks (deployment, integrations, security)
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS applications and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
