Position Summary:

Resolve cases for students participating in the University’s student conduct process through a restorative lens; provide support for colleagues at Study Away Sites in managing student conduct matters; develop and deliver educational campaigns and programming for the University community on the topics of NYU policies, prevention education, and conflict resolution; and oversee the Student Conduct Suspension Reentry Program, supporting students returning to the University after a disciplinary leave of absence. Qualifications:

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree in student affairs/higher education administration, social work, counseling, or related field

Required Experience:

2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience working with college students, conflict resolution, and/or student conduct.

Preferred Experience:

5+ years of experience working with student conduct programs at a higher education institution.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies and procedures. Excellent organizational, networking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to exercise superior judgment and discretion, as well as maintain integrity and confidences.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Must be well versed in navigating and using case management software to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data in NYU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards. Additional Information: 

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $84,700.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
