About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Instructional Designer to join our team and support impactful learning and development initiatives, primarily focused on IT-related course development. This role offers the flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality, well-structured instructional materials. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), adhere to professional standards, and use cutting-edge tools to create engaging learning experiences for our clients.
Important: This is a C2C engagement, and candidates will need to invoice us to collect payment for their services. Native English proficiency is required for this position.

What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will:
  • Apply style guides and formatting standards to create polished instructional materials.
  • Define and document learning objectives tailored to client and learner needs.
  • Research and collaborate with subject matter experts to redesign content for optimal learning outcomes.
  • Develop and format diverse instructional materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led courses, student guides, instructor guides, lab guides, and training manuals.
  • Create engaging visual, audio, and interactive learning tools to enhance the learning experience.
  • Convert all learning materials into professional PDF deliverables and organize files in structured folders for delivery.
  • Utilize programming knowledge to design coding exercises and ensure technical content accuracy.
  • Integrate eLearning modules with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for seamless content delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to LMS and eLearning content.
  • Manage project storyboards and implement them using state-of-the-art development tools.
  • Maintain quality assurance, voice talent coordination, and editorial reviews to ensure project standards are met.

What We’re Looking For:
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
  • 2-3 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying online courses and training.
  • Native English proficiency (both written and spoken).
  • Strong proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate Rise, PowerPoint).
  • Experience creating videos in PowerPoint and proficiency with Camtasia for video editing.
  • Experience with generative AI for voices and avatars, and familiarity with assessing the pronunciation of generative AI voices.
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, or related languages for customizing eLearning content.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design theory, principles, and adult learning strategies.
  • Expertise in creating and managing interactive modules, videos, and live online classes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage and deliver multiple projects on time.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical software issues.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to adhere to style guides and formatting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to think strategically, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education (Preferred):
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, interactive media, technical writing, web design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
