Specifically, this role will: Establish and cultivate relationships with faculty, staff, post-doc, and student researchers in assigned UNL departments. Research and analyze the intellectual property, market(s) and commercialization potential for new inventions. Support, develop and implement strategies for the marketing of assigned technologies. Prepare technology briefs and content for other marketing materials for inventions. In coordination with NUtech’s licensing team, manage commercialization analyst interns who assist with the above processes. Assist NUtech licensing team in drafting confidentiality agreements, term sheets, and license agreements. Participate as a member of the NUtech team in licensing negotiations as assigned.
