Training and Development Specialist/Internal Marketing

Position Summary
This position responsible for leading CITCO Water’s strategy around employee engagement, training, and success. This role combines the responsibilities of designing and executing employee training programs with the development and execution of internal marketing strategies to engage and inspire employees.

Training and Development:
- Design, develop, and delivery effective training programs that support employee growth, enhance skills, and drive overall business performance
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and create tailored training materials and workshops
- Organize and facilitate onboarding programs (i.e. CITCO University) to ensure new employees are successfully integrated into company culture.
- Assist in hiring, oversight, and placement of employees of CITCO University.
- Monitor and evaluate training programs through feedback and performance assessments, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continuous improvement. Conduct follow-up assessments of completed training and outreach efforts to evaluate and measure results
- Work with CVO to develop and implement a strategy around employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Assist in building and implementing training and growth plans for existing employees.
- Confer with management, supervisors, and employees to ensure training programs align with company objectives and employee development goals.
- Formulate teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lecture, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, workshops, etc. with assistance of CVO
- Work alongside CVO to enhance the outreach of the CITCO + One Foundation to all our locations.
Internal Marketing:
- Develop and implement internal marketing campaigns to promote employee engagement, well-being, and productivity
- Coordinator with HR and leadership to communicate key company messages, initiatives and values to all levels of staff
- Create and distribute newsletters, emails, and other communication materials to keep employees informed and motivated.
- Help create content that supports company culture, including employee success stories, recognition programs, and event promotions.
- Leverage internal communication channels (intranet, social platforms, etc.) to maintain consistent, positive messaging across the organization.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications or related field OR
- 4+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of t raining methodologies and best practices for adult learning
- Experience in content creation for internal communication
- Proficient in learning management systems (LMS), Microsoft Office, and social media
Preferred Education and Experience
- Industry experience a plus
- 2+ years of leadership preferred.
- Experience creating attractive video and visual content and proficiency with applicable software and tools
