Job Description

What is the job about?  
Grundfos is seeking a Training Specialist to join its CBS team.  The Training Specialist will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging training content focused on sustainable practices for Commercial HVAC and plumbing systems for the CBS Sustainable Buildings Academy. This position reports directly to the Senior Technical Sales Manager and will operate on a hybrid basis out of the Brookshire, TX facility.
 
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.
 
Your main responsibilities:  
  • Conduct training sessions for distributors, customers, and engineers both in person and virtually.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials and presentations on sustainable HVAC and plumbing practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainability.
  • Customize training programs to meet the specific needs of different audiences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to trainees during and after training sessions.
 
Your background 

We imagine that you have:   
  • A bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years in HVAC/Plumbing with 1-2 years of training experience is required.  
  • At least one sustainability-related credential (i.e. LEED Green Associate)
  • Strong technical skills within the HVAC/Plumbing industry with a strong emphasis on presentation and content development.
  • Strong communication skills and creativity to captivate diverse audiences and motivate them to adopt sustainable practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and foster trust and cooperation with stakeholders.
