Job Summary:

As the Training Specialist, Mid, you will drive organizational efficiency by identifying and addressing employee training needs.

Responsibilities:

Assess program employee training needs and overall program requirements to formulate targeted training sessions
Revise existing training materials and create new content for functional subjects
Develop course outlines, design methodologies, and conduct classroom instruction, utilizing visual aids, handouts, and interactive exercises
Schedule training sessions, manage enrollments, and coordinate logistics for training locations
Secure necessary equipment and supplies while evaluating the impact of the training
Collaborate with managers and supervisors to identify staff training needs and create educational materials accordingly
Develop and implement competency testing to measure training effectiveness
Generate comprehensive training reports, tracking and compiling competency scores
Identify and report competency gaps, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Perform any other duties assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience including designing, developing, and delivering educational sessions

Preferred Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of employee training principles, encompassing curriculum assessment and development
Proficiency in the principles, practices, and techniques of employee training development
Application of basic instructional techniques and methods in the preparation and execution of training sessions
Problem-solving skills for common classroom issues and the ability to seek external resources
Capability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, supervisors, managers, employees, and the public
Strong oral and written communication skills
