Job Summary and Responsibilities
Acentra Health is looking for a Training Specialist, Mid to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
- As the Training Specialist, Mid, you will drive organizational efficiency by identifying and addressing employee training needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess program employee training needs and overall program requirements to formulate targeted training sessions
- Revise existing training materials and create new content for functional subjects
- Develop course outlines, design methodologies, and conduct classroom instruction, utilizing visual aids, handouts, and interactive exercises
- Schedule training sessions, manage enrollments, and coordinate logistics for training locations
- Secure necessary equipment and supplies while evaluating the impact of the training
- Collaborate with managers and supervisors to identify staff training needs and create educational materials accordingly
- Develop and implement competency testing to measure training effectiveness
- Generate comprehensive training reports, tracking and compiling competency scores
- Identify and report competency gaps, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform any other duties assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience including designing, developing, and delivering educational sessions
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of employee training principles, encompassing curriculum assessment and development
- Proficiency in the principles, practices, and techniques of employee training development
- Application of basic instructional techniques and methods in the preparation and execution of training sessions
- Problem-solving skills for common classroom issues and the ability to seek external resources
- Capability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, supervisors, managers, employees, and the public
- Strong oral and written communication skills
