We are looking for a Training Support Specialist for a Fortune 150 utilities client in New Hill, NC. This will be a 2yr contract that does require a hybrid work schedule. Please only apply if you are local and willing to work in an office.  

Description
The Training Support Specialist coordinates training efforts by collaborating with trainers and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to present creative solutions and understand how to orient tasks to create efficient workflows

  • 1-2 years of experience in a functional support role within operations, training & development, or HR
  • Create, update, and organize training course within the Learning Management System (ideally Cornerstone)
  • Serve as the logistical coordinator for the training center by assisting with scheduling instructors, classes, facilities, meals, and lodging
  • Send notifications and reminders to participants and their leadership about upcoming training sessions, deadlines, and other important information
  • Communicate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hire by welcoming and providing key instructions for their first week with the organization

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $19.00-$23.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
