The Opportunity:
CACI is currently looking for a Training Support Specialist to join our IFMS team that supports a purpose-built food distribution management system for the USDA’s Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR). This position will be responsible for working with IFMS users, and the Change Management team to provide an end-to-end training program for organizations new to the FDPIR program, including mapping out training plans and schedules. In addition, the Training Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating schedules and leading New User Trainings and Refresher Trainings for existing IFMS users. The Training Support Specialist will develop content, choose appropriate training methods and assess training program outcomes.     
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing training materials and leading training classes, as well as delivering one-on-one training during user support calls. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a team player with great written and oral communication skills. Our ideal candidate is creative, thinks outside the box and has experience with various training methods, including virtual and in-person training. This role will primarily focus on virtual training and individual support to the end-users across the U.S.

Ultimately, the role of the Training Support Specialist is to ensure all system users understand how to use the system and its benefits. A Training Support Specialist is an experienced educator and must have the ability to convey a message that shows a deep knowledge of the system. Organizational skills and a positive attitude are important qualities to possess.

Responsibilities:
  • Deploy a wide range of training methods
  • Deliver direct training to system users who are new to the FDPIR program as well as ongoing support of the system
  • Work aside the IFMS Help Desk to assist users with targeted training related to their incident
  • Create and manage suite of standard operating system procedures
  • Create and manage training presentations, videos and materials
  • Tailor training programs as necessary based on feedback and Help Desk ticket analysis
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI, and report on them
  • Design and develop several different trainings for various roles throughout the program by creating course designs, job aids, participant guides, and PowerPoints
  • Develop training content including technology announcements, surveys, and promotion of training materials through use of Chatter
  • Prepare updates to release documentation and knowledge base articles for system releases and production maintenance tasks

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree and 2+ years of experience in a training environment
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with modern training methods specific to virtual training
  • Excellent written communication and leadership skills
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
  • Ability to work individually (self-motivated) and within a team environment
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates excellent thought leadership to continuously improve the training program 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with users, clients and management
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues to identify potential training opportunities
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust
  • Must be U.S. citizen

Desired:
  • Experience with Salesforce software, including Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Experience developing user manuals and training programs for systems and deploying training programs using virtual platforms
  • Experience with managing large scale training programs
  • Experience with an IT help desk or call center
