What You’ll Do:

Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, advising senior leadership on risks, opportunities, and compliance strategies.
Establish and maintain relationships with key regulatory agencies, advocating for the organization’s interests.
Lead compliance initiatives across institutions, ensuring alignment with federal and state financial aid laws.
Conduct management reviews to assess and enhance regulatory compliance effectiveness.
Provide regulatory training, fostering a culture of compliance and awareness across the organization.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, guiding teams through complex regulatory questions and challenges.
Oversee failure investigations and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

✔ Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
✔ 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in regulatory compliance within higher education or a related field.
✔ Proven track record of developing and executing compliance strategies in a multi-institutional setting.
✔ Deep understanding of federal and state financial aid laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory frameworks.
✔ Strong ability to build relationships with regulatory agencies and advocate for institutional interests.
✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring and influencing cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $164108.58 and $296747.32. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
