In this job, you will spearhead the development and delivery of impactful training programs, including instructor-led, in-person, online, and on-demand curriculum. Additionally, you will oversee operations at the Tulare Energy Education Center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning to support our mission.

Responsibilities
  • Influences the strategic direction and short-term vision for the energy efficiency and demand response program with the overall program goals aligned to SCE objectives
  • Partners with stakeholders to ensure program success and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manages budgets and allocate resources effectively to support program initiatives, including funding for customer incentives, technology investments, marketing campaigns, and program evaluation activities
  • Establishes performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting mechanisms to monitor the performance and effectiveness of programs
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, rules, and reporting requirements related to programs. Stay informed about regulatory changes and proactively adapt the program to meet evolving compliance standards.
  • Leads a team responsible for the day-to-day operations of program. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Five or more years combined experience performing or supervising demand response principles, customer programs, or conservation/efficiency initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, engineering, technical or related fields. 
  • Prior experience with clean energy workforce education and training development and delivery.
  • Working knowledge of applicable California energy sector regulatory policies.
  • Experience leading a team of direct reports.
  • Experience working closely with local communities in Central California.
  • Excellent written/oral communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively interface and collaborate with stakeholders.

Additional Information
  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
